2. Bookings and Payments

2.1 Booking: All bookings for swim lessons must be made through our website or through external providers such as ClassForKids. By booking a lesson, you agree to our cancellation and rescheduling policies.

2.2 Payment: Payments for services must be made at the time of booking. We accept various forms of payment as specified on our website. All payments are non-refundable, except as specified in our cancellation policy.

2.3 Cancellation and Rescheduling: You may cancel or reschedule a lesson according to our cancellation policy. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule lessons due to unforeseen circumstances.

3. Newsletter and Marketing Communications

3.1 Subscription: By subscribing to our newsletter, you consent to receiving emails about our services, promotions, and other updates. You can opt-out of these communications at any time by following the unsubscribe link in the emails.

4. User Conduct

4.1 Prohibited Activities: You agree not to engage in any activities that violate applicable laws, infringe on the rights of others, or interfere with the proper functioning of our services. 2. Swimming Lesson Policies

2.1 Special Needs and Medical Information: Please provide the Swim Team with any information regarding any special needs or medical history relevant to the swimmer.

2.2 Hygiene: All swimmers are required to use the showers and toilets before the lessons.

2.3 Arrival Time: Swimmers should only enter poolside a few minutes prior to the start time of lessons to ensure safety and to avoid distracting other learners.

2.4 Instruction Compliance: Swimmers must not enter the water until instructed to do so by their instructor.

2.5 Parental Responsibility: Parents/guardians are responsible for their children while they are in the changing area.

2.6 Communication During Lessons: Parents/guardians should avoid disrupting lessons by communicating with the swimmers.

2.7 Pool Visits: Regular visits to the pool between lessons will help swimmers get the most out of their course.

2.8 Attire and Equipment: Jewellery should not be worn. If your swimmer chooses to wear goggles, they may be instructed to remove them at certain points during the lessons to gain the most out of their lesson.

3. Booking and Payments

3.1 Booking: All bookings for swim lessons must be made through our website or through external providers such as ClassForKids. Once you have made a booking for any course (group or private lessons), there will be no refunds issued.

3.2 Lesson Schedule: All lessons purchased must be carried out during the term enrolment dates, unless a medical note is issued.

3.3 Class Placement: For information on which class to start your swimmer in, please see 'RKL Swims Guide to Swimming Lessons'. In the event of a child being enrolled in the wrong class after our teachers' assessments, we will try our best to accommodate a class swap to a more appropriate level (subject to availability), but no refunds will be given. Please note you cannot transfer from group to private lessons; these must be booked separately.

3.4 Private Lessons: For all private 1:1/1:2 lessons, payment must be made in full before the lesson starts, and a full 24 hours notice must be given for cancellations, otherwise the full price of the lesson will be charged.

4. Additional Policies

4.1 Photography Policy: RKL Swims has a strict NO PHOTOGRAPHY policy, however instructors are able to take photos/videos, as long as all swimmers have had consent approved by their guardian/parent.

4.2 Liability: RKL Swims does not accept liability for lost or damaged items that may have been left in the changing areas.

4.3 Behavior Policy: RKL Swims has a child behaviour policy during lessons. Disruptive behaviour will result in a verbal warning followed by appropriate action as outlined in our behaviour policy.

4.4 Facility Rules: Smoking is not permitted in the building. No shoes are to be worn on the poolside. Parents are all expected to remain in the building during their child’s swim lessons. Please be respectful of members and staff when congregating poolside.

4.5 Spectator Area: There is no spectator area on the poolside; parents are asked to wait in designated waiting areas during lessons.

4.6 Safety and Conduct: Running is not permitted on the poolside or in the changing facilities. All members of RKL Swims are expected to follow appropriate behaviour policies including Child Protection, Anti-Bullying, and Anti-Racism Policy.
